I’ve been working in the mental health/psychotherapy field since 2013 providing therapy for individuals (adults and children), couples, and families. I have my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Adler University in Chicago. I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Iowa. My professional orientation to therapy involves family-systems, trauma-informed care, emotionally-focused, and attachment-based approaches.
My career began in 2013 at a community mental health center in Madison, WI before returning to central Iowa where I had the opportunity to spend 3 years working with children with emotional and behavioral issues and their families in an inpatient residential setting. I then returned to an outpatient mental health setting in the Des Moines area for 3+ years, continuing to develop my professional skills before beginning my own practice under Driftwood Family Therapy in 2019. I look forward to continuing to work with the great people of Iowa!
